I’ve been struggling with chronic anxiety for a long time, and always put it down to my state of mind and thought patterns Ive developed.
I never considered that my ADHD might be the key factor driving this anxiety, until I watched this video. It makes a lot of sense that growing up with ADHD and feeling as though I’m not good enough, forgetful, and disorganised, would result in feeling on edge and constantly on the lookout for things I might have missed or forgotten, and to try and manage my own shortcomings.
