I Miss You Mum

With great sorrow I am sad to announce that my Mum Janice (Jan) Liddicoat died peacefully on Monday 22nd of November, 2021.

Thank you to everyone who attended her memorial, who wanted to attend but could not, and those that sent their thoughts and prayers. I especially want to thank the Pastor Dan, and Dennis, Chris, Carrie, Amy, Luke, and Joel. Without them, I don’t know if I would have been able to put together such a beautiful memorial to Mum.

Janice was diagnosed with lung cancer in December, 2020. She fought bravely against it, and we thought she had beaten it, but she developed complications at the beginning of November 20201. She remained upbeat and was determined to get better and go home. Unfortunately she took a turn for the worse, and passed away that Monday evening.

Thank you to everyone who called and visited her. It really made her final weeks much happier. We appreciate all the lovely messages and condolences that we’ve received. It’s been very moving during this difficult time. I would also like to thank the staff at the Flinders Hospital ICCU for all of their care, time, and support.

Janice’s memorial was held on Thursday the 2nd of December at 11:00am at the Blackwood Hills Baptist Church Chapel.

My Eulogy to Mum

Drumming Update

If anyone is interested, I did another recording to track my progress with learning the drums. I have been making myself go back and redo any sections I stuff up, but that doesn’t make for a fun listen, so I did a single run straight through the two songs Ive started learning (The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters). Oh, the stuff up at about 2 minutes in was because Miki (one of my dogs) decided to jump up onto my lap 😛 The rest (as always) are mine.

The Unforgiven [5mb]
Nothing Else Matters [5mb]

Let me know what you think 🙂
